Wow, yes it's Mombasa! My family lived there. They are called "khanga". They are usually very bright and come in a pair, one piece goes around the body and the other covering the head. "Kitenge" is similar, comes by the yard and can be sewn into wearable clothes. Thank you for your vote.

Cool Sher, I was in Mombassa once, I loved the cloth too, think they called it -Kente cloth? - If I remember right some of those Java prints came from Holland. Your pic takes me back to Africa. Vote, FV
